According to Netsafe NZ, reports of online scams increased by 69 percent in the past year, requests for help from parents around online safety grew 155 percent and ‘notifications of objectionable material being supplied or distributed grew 66 per cent.’
Our senior whānau are particularly vulnerable to online scams and privacy issues.
