Support Workers’ Graduation

On Wednesday the 19th of June, Enliven was proud to host the Auckland & Waitemata and Counties Manukau regions Support Worker graduation.

The event recognised and celebrated the achievements of the Support Workers who have successfully completed the Careerforce approved Integrated Level 3 NZQA qualification, and Support Workers who have successfully completed the Level 4 NZQA qualification piloted through the New Zealand Tertiary College (NZTC).

The graduation was held at Mangere Arts Centre – Nga Tohu o Uenuku, Mangere.

Andrea McLeod (GM Strategic Change – Enliven) was the Master of Ceremonies, and the opening speeches were presented by Denise Cosgrove (CEO, PSN) and Sarah Crookes (Area Manager, Counties Manukau).

We had the pleasure of having key note speeches from Jane Wenman (CEO, Careerforce) and Camelia Parsonage (Enrolments Manager, NZTC).

Graduating Support Workers Matilda Magilas and Lynda Kelsall shared their learning journeys, with special acknowledgment to the Learning & Development and Quality Manager, Sakshi Sikri who also delivered a presentation.

Camelia Parsonage presented Karimaysmin Aiyub with an Academic Excellence award, and Denise Cosgrove (CEO, Presbyterian Support Northern) presented Support Worker Christine Baker with a Certificate of Appreciation for her 25 years service to Enliven.

It was a lovely, inspiring afternoon full of happy graduates with their friends and family.
