Mary, one of our Enliven Service Coordinators began her career in the Philippines where she was an operating theatre staff nurse before becoming a trainer in several areas, including intravenous therapy (nutrition and handling intravenous solutions).
When Mary moved to Aotearoa New Zealand, she took up a part-time role at Enliven Rotorua as a support worker while she was undertaking postgraduate study in Health & Rehabilitation.
After completing her study, Mary moved to Auckland to take up a post as a Solutions Team Support Worker. At Enliven, the Solutions Team is involved with a clients’ first assessment, and can step in when a support worker is away to assist with their client care.
Then Mary was offered the role of Support Worker Coordinator focusing on ACC and Ministry of Health referrals. Despite this being a 3 month pilot position, Mary remained in this role for over a year.
Today Mary is one of our valued service coordinators, a dedicated and devoted part of our Enliven team.
