Enliven has offered to help set up a trial network for people living with a brain injury, and their families. The suggestion follows a presentation during Brain Week at the Auckland Museum, and two weeks staff spent volunteering at brain injury specialists, ABI Rehabilitation. Enliven identified a need for an education and support network for those who are affected themselves or have a family member with a brain injury. Enliven offered to sponsor a pilot with a view to empowering family members through knowledge, peer support and links to other agencies.
